Front-end Engineer

Headquarters:Atlanta, GA,USA

Does this sound like you?

You’re a front-end developer with a lot of experience. You want to work for a company where you can really be a part of things – helping turn business needs into a reality for those end-users whose experience you’re always trying to improve. You’ve seen a lot of changes in front-end development and you’re excited about trying out new ideas and frameworks but you don’t necessarily want to “rewrite all the things.” You’re equally excited about working with legacy systems and finding ways to get the most out of them. You have a good and broad fundamental knowledge of front-end code and you’re looking for a job where these skills will be highly valued beyond the day that the next new JavaScript framework is released. If you’re ready to join a fast-growing and Best Places to Work award-winning company, this is the place for you.
  • 5 or more years of experience as a front-end engineer, developing and maintaining responsive web applications with a solid portfolio that you can share with us.
  • A strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • A passion for remarkable user experiences. We believe simple can be much harder than complex and strive to find the best and simplest solution, not the most obvious.
  • Great written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a distributed team across the globe.
  • Comfort working with and cleaning up legacy framework code in a large code base.
  • Enthusiasm about writing front-end code well. This includes a desire to contribute to and follow coding guidelines.
  • Capability to balance “getting things done” with our overall goals of constant improvement.

Desired Skills

  • Web Components and Custom Elements (including Polymer)
  • Webpack and Yarn
  • SCSS
  • Ruby on Rails
  • ES6
  • Experience with a modern JS framework such as React, Vue or Angular
