Our company is completely distributed, so we work from anywhere we can find a good broadband connection.
As some of the biggest brands on the web, our clients are often pushing the limits of WordPress. The VIP team works to help our clients get the most out of WordPress, doing everything from providing guidance, to reviewing their code to ensure security and performance, to developing new tools to help improve our platform.
VIP Developers work in three squads, each with different day-to-day responsibilities. Developers have the flexibility to move between squads or stay on one squad.

Launch Squad:

  • Work closely with a client to advise them on the best way to structure their theme or plugins
  • Review code and provide feedback and guidance to client developers
  • Help guide clients through the launch of their sites
  • Assist with content migration
  • Think proactively for clients as they head into launch

Enterprise Squad:

  • Guide large organizations with architectural decisions, including the ongoing development of new features and functionality
  • Understand the organization’s needs at a deep level, and be able to recommend best practices and workflows as well as tools and plugins
  • Review client themes, plugins, and technical integrations
  • Debug complex problems and anticipate potential future needs and challenges

Developer Squad:

  • Debug complex problems encountered by clients
  • Build tools to help the support team be more efficient
  • Work on plugins for clients and the community
  • Do performance audits of sites
  • Add or debug platform level issues impacting all clients
  • Fix security issues impacting the platform or popular plugins
  • Help with occasional day to day code review
You’ll have the ability to set your own schedule outside of a required 4 to 8 hours a week of “on call” time for urgents and code deployments. This will typically fall during your morning or afternoon, although some weekend work is possible.

Senior Data Engineer

At Reify Health, we are building a more creative healthcare system. We envision a world where every potential therapy, if safe and effective, is available to the patients who can benefit.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with Data Engineering Lead and key stakeholders to design and develop Reify’s next-generation Kappa-style data architecture in a functional programming environment using Kafka, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL and potentially additional tooling from the AWS/Confluent Ecosystems (e.g. EKS, Athena, Confluent Operator, etc.)
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance, upgrades, orchestration, and troubleshooting of our data architecture and tooling
  • Use a combination of Clojure (functional programmers welcome!), Python, and SQL to support analytics work (statistical modeling, machine learning) and develop/integrate analytics insights into our data products

AS A SR. DEMAND GENERATION MANAGER AT TAXJAR YOU WILL
  • Develop and communicate a strategic plan. Own the research, development, implementation, and success of multi-channel lead generation programs in order to meet lead, prospect, and ultimately, revenue goals.
  • Define the right tactics for reaching target markets, build a sales pipeline of qualified prospects, develop KPI’s, and measure results of activities on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans that drive both inbound and outbound demand generation, messaging, and define our market/vertical segmentation.
  • Identify trends to nurture prospects and inform content development from data.
  • Organize and launch a best-in-class event marketing plan that ties closed won TaxJar Plus event activities back to marketing dollars.
