Responsibilities and Activities:
  • The role of Remote Sales Representative encompasses both inbound and outbound sales:
  • Handling inbound sales coming in through email, Upwork, and other channels
  • Researching using the internet (Google, LinkedIn, Magento forums, etc.) and compile a list of potential leads
  • Contacting leads that you have researched
  • Analysing the needs of the leads, organising information in our systems
  • Getting in touch with our team leaders, creating detailed offers for the leads
  • Closing the deals, preparing necessary documents, passing all information to team leaders and the client manager

Required skills and qualities:

The Senior Demand Generation Manager is fanatical about finding and engaging our target audiences, generating qualified sales leads, and ultimately producing revenue opportunities for the TaxJar sales team to close.
AS A SR. DEMAND GENERATION MANAGER AT TAXJAR YOU WILL
  • Develop and communicate a strategic plan. Own the research, development, implementation, and success of multi-channel lead generation programs in order to meet lead, prospect, and ultimately, revenue goals.
  • Define the right tactics for reaching target markets, build a sales pipeline of qualified prospects, develop KPI’s, and measure results of activities on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans that drive both inbound and outbound demand generation, messaging, and define our market/vertical segmentation.
  • Identify trends to nurture prospects and inform content development from data.
  • Organize and launch a best-in-class event marketing plan that ties closed won TaxJar Plus event activities back to marketing dollars.
  • Bring a creative and open mind to the team and be ready to hit the ground running.
  • Assist the sales and design teams in developing campaign-specific content necessary to close business
  • Must have a proven track record for driving lead generation and building a qualified pipeline for sales.
  • Must be willing to travel and attend in-person trade-shows and live events with customers.
This is a key strategic marketing role and requires a self-starter with strong experience in executing demand generation projects and has a deep understanding of eCommerce business needs. You don’t wait for others to tell you what to do—you figure things out on your own. You ask questions. You get clarity. You do what’s best for the customer.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive experience with SEO, SEM, Google AdWords, Facebook (FBX), Doubleclick Bid Manager (DBM), Amazon Media Group (AMG), Quora Ads, etc
  • Well-versed in marketing automation tools and analytics platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Drift, Grow, Drip, VWO, Groove, Google Analytics, HotJar, Hootsuite, Woopra)
  • Ability to understand how tools connect and how to leverage platforms to get our tools to talk to each other (Segment, Zapier)
  • Agile, humble, trustworthy, and a team player
  • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Passion for marketing simple and intuitive products that solve complex problems in eCommerce

Support Hero (Americas)

Although this is a remote position, we are currently only considering candidates in time zones within the Americas and willing to work EST hours.
Hotjar’s Hero team is on the hunt for a support champion to join us in providing world class technical help and assistance to the growing user base of our SaaS product. We take support seriously, and our Hero team is dedicated to going above and beyond for our users day in and day out. Support is not just something we do, it’s who we are!
As a Hotjar Hero, you will take care of hundreds of Hotjar users every week to ensure they get the reactive support they need to be successful using our product. You’ll also be dedicated to delivering top notch self-service, as we invest a lot in documentation, content and defining changes to continuously improve the overall customer experience. Due to the technical nature of our product, you should have a good understanding of web development. This includes being able to debug HTML, CSS and JavaScript in web browser based developer tools.

Compensation Range
The budgeted compensation range for this role is $44,000 to $60,000 annually. Ranges are based on market research and are equitable to other roles within Hotjar. The actual compensation offered to a successful candidate will be based on relative experience and skills. At this time we are only able to provide official employment status to those located in Malta. All other candidates will join our team as full-time consultants and will be responsible for paying any taxes or applicable fees where they reside.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working in technical support roles and teams. Rather than seeing Support as an entry level role, we place a high value on the team who are on the front-line of ensuring our users’ success.
  • Fluency in English, with flawless writing skills. If you also speak other languages, tell us! Portuguese, German, French, Spanish and Japanese will be considered assets.
  • Previous experience wrangling HTML & CSS (JavaScript is a plus), like putting together websites and using web based developer tools to locate bugs.

  • Looking for a conscientious, preferably bilingual, individual (English/Spanish speaker) to work remotely as a customer service provider for an on-line educational company.
